Classical electrodynamics
Classical electrodynamics studies the movement and interaction of charged particles and the electromagnetic field. It is on of the most required courses for further study of the quantum field theory. In addition, gained knowledge is used in plasma physics and astrophysics.
Basic knowledge required for successful understanding of the course:
- Calculus,
- Classical mechanics,
- Vector and tensor analysis,
- Basics of the special theory of relativity.
